Whilst most people think of Big Bags as ‘just packaging’ – there is a lot of technology and experience is needed to get an FIBC right.
Our partner, Flexituff, are a fully integrated production facility with three sites, this means they take the raw ingredients, blend, extrude and weave the fabric needed for our bulk bags on site ensuring they have full control of their quality and standards.
Understanding complex mixes and blends is a specialist skill with a lot of responsibility. A complete knowledge of what fabric is needed to make a bag that is going to hold 2 tonnes, for example, needs to be created by people when know what is required – they have to get it right.
A wrong mix that is extruded and woven into the right weight fabric, but with the wrong blend, can have a catastrophic effect on the end use of the bag. That is why Flexituff have invested a huge amount of time, effort and experience into this process – giving Euroflex the peace of mind that every bag we supply to our customers is to the highest quality.
Add in several testing points throughout the entire process from starting the mix to the finished bags and we have the quality of bag we are proud to put our name against!
