Fusion is a newly developed technology that is made from Raffia grade polypropylene, as used for standard FIBCs, but it is stitch-less.
Fusion eliminates moisture, contamination, leakage and torn liners due to its uniquely welded seams. The bags are heavy duty which makes them more durable and they ‘bulge’ less than standard bags, often performing as well as a baffle bag. When loading into a container, they stand and stack correctly allowing both loading on offloading to be more efficient.
The Fusion bag is 100% recyclable, and as the coating is on the outside of the bag, they are ideal for food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
If you currently use a sift proof bag or a bag with a liner, the Fusion bag has less risk of contamination as there are no needle holes and without a liner, they are easier to handle during the production process. The loops are designed for single person handling and work well in restricted filling areas.
The Fusion bag is also cost effective, often cheaper than the liner or sift proof bags, making it an attractive alternative to the more traditional flexible intermediate bulk container (big bags).
